Club Rules

The club rules are for the safety of all the users of the slope and must be obeyed

Please also refer to the Constitution and Aims of the Club.

Gloves, long sleeved tops and full-length trousers must be worn whilst skiing.

Ski Helmets must be worn by all those who wish to race, or take part in race training. It is advised that all young children helmets.
The club does have some helmets that can be borrowed, but advises members to obtain their own. The club cannot be held responsible for the correct fitting of helmets or any accidents that arise from their use.

Safety is a priority.  All members are encouraged to learn and abide the Ski Way Code.

Skiers who are dangerous and/or fail to show courtesy to trainers and fellow trainees will be asked to leave the slope.

In addition:

Customers use the facilities at the Folkestone Ski Centre entirely at their own risk. The management accepts no responsibility for injuries or accidents or damage to personal equipment.

The Folkestone Ski Centre cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or theft from any part of the premises or site. Items left in lockers supplied or in any part of the centre are left entirely at the risk of the owner of those items.
