Club
Rules
The club rules are for the safety of all the users of the slope
and must be obeyed
Please also refer
to the Constitution
and Aims of the Club.
Gloves,
long sleeved tops and full-length trousers must be worn whilst skiing.
Ski
Helmets must be worn by all those who wish to race, or take part in race
training. It is advised that all young children helmets.
The club does have some helmets that can be borrowed, but advises members
to obtain their own. The club cannot be held responsible for the correct
fitting of helmets or any accidents that arise from their use.
Safety is a priority. All members are encouraged
to learn and abide the Ski Way Code.
Skiers
who are dangerous and/or fail to show courtesy to trainers and fellow
trainees will be asked to leave the slope.
In addition:
Customers
use the facilities at the Folkestone Ski Centre entirely at their own
risk. The management accepts no responsibility for injuries or accidents
or damage to personal equipment.
The Folkestone Ski Centre cannot accept any responsibility for any loss
or theft from any part of the premises or site. Items left in lockers
supplied or in any part of the centre are left entirely at the risk of
the owner of those items.
All skiers must obey the safety rules displayed at various points around
the site.
The Folkestone Ski Centre reserves the right to refuse admission or to
terminate a persons use of the facility without refund or explanation.
